Thrush Hunting

Dates: Early October To The end of February

In the Mediterranean area it is rather on the hills and highlands than in the lowlands but it avoids too dense forests. Finally, note that it avoids nowadays extreme Mediterranean coastline. In winter, it preferentially uses meadows bordered by large hedges and open spaces of average altitude.

As often in the woods, hunting is done in small beaten with beaters.

Plain consists of agricultural properties. Hunting in the cotton fields, (alfalfa), potatoes.

RUNNING AN OPEN DAY:

To 8:30 AM, from Marrakech by minibus or road vehicle with driver to the hunting ground.

Water distribution, distribution of dogs and carriers.

Picnic lunch on the field: salad / grilled over a wood fire / cheese / fruit / wine and water.

Hunting around until 04:00 PM and back to Marrakech.

TABLE PERMITTED: 50 GRIVES A DAY IN THE RESERVE.
